Mr Read's 17 Days to Make a Difference

Hi Room 12,

Last year I decided to participate in 17 Days to Make a Difference along with my class. I found it challenging, fun and rewarding. Because I did it at the same time as my class, I could relate to how they were feeling and also experience some of the challeges they did. E.g. Getting to the end of the day and realising "Hey I haven't done my good deed yet....what am I going to do?" Also trying to do something special, something I wouldn't ordinarily do anyway. Often I had to think long and hard about what my good deed could be.

This year I have decided to comment on my students blogs as often as I can. So expect to receive some encouraging feedback at least every 4 day.

Thanks for doing this task R12. You really can make a difference to someone's life and put a smile on their dial.

Mr Read

Hilarious joke:

Two blondes lock their keys in the car. One of the blondes tries to break into the car while the the other one watches.

Finally the first blonde says "Darn, I can't get in the car!" The other blond replies, "Keep trying, it looks like it is going to rain and the top is down".
